The book of Revelation tells about the Great Tribulation, a time of intense suffering as the antichrist takes power upon the Earth. In the darkened corners of this world, there are those that believe this time has begun and with that comes rise to the group known as Light Bringers - those few who stoically stand against the Antichrist and the manipulation of man, believers who refuse to bow down.
Lux Bellator is the title bestowed on one such believer. A warrior, who has sacrificed his very identity to be trained by the church as a weapon to fight. Like his predecessor, he serves this order with his own clear mission. To hunt down the Antichrist, to find the serpent who manipulates man and end this time of Tribulation, ushering in the era of light.
Consumed by a virus dealt at the hands of Padre Vanganza, Lux has been lost to the darkness flowing within him. Out of this darkness rises another being.
Nox Bellator.
The Warrior not of light, but of darkness itself. Umbrae accipe - receive biblical darkness. In Nox, Veritas… For in Darkness, there is truth.
HOWEVER,
Help was on the way from the most unlikely of sources. The original Nox Bellator, Solomon Rhodes. Long time rival and eventual brethren of the original Lux Bellator, helped to bring Nox back into the light. He stands now, the Light Warrior once more.
And he has one clear mission. Bring down the Family of Padre Venganza.
